One of Jesus’ followers, named Thomas, said, “Unless I see and can touch where Jesus was wounded, I will not believe.” The Bible acknowledges how difficult it was, and is, to believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. Yet Jesus gave Thomas exactly what he needed to believe. This is wonderful news for all of us that struggle to trust in the truth of the good news that Jesus Christ is Risen. Jesus can answer whatever “unless” we might have.
